A summery shrine to Tsathoggua

These Chronicles will, in all likelihood, take a break in publication for the duration of the summer. Lord Bassington-Bassington would like to wish all his faithful readers (yes, we know there is something wrong with that sentence, but we haven't got the heart to tell His Lordship) a good summer, and would like to share this snapshot of His improvised shrine to Tsathoggua, the Toad God.

  1. My secretary has a very big and pressing deadline coming up, and claims that he needs a break from taking dictation. Also, he says his right front paw hurts from what might be carpal tunnel syndrome.

  4. Gustav Beowulf of Lulubelle wishes You and Your folks the very best for Summer! And hopes His Lordship hasn't forgotten His appointment at the Basset Waddle in Hokksund.

  6. Ah, I hadn't noticed that! I know that our beloved Mullah works tirelessly to spread the teachings of the Prophet, but perhaps there is a small place in his heart for the Toad God as well?

  7. Looking closely at the satanic verses (sura an-Najm 53:19-22), it is obvious that the Prophet is hinting at the existence of great Old Ones (from the stars i.e. an-Najm) - though they remain nameless. These can easily be identified with Cthulhu, Azathoth, Hello Kitty and even Tsathoggua.

I do believe I have this theology thing down! Allahu Akbar!
